Controls Integration Testing Engineer (General Motors Powertrain Europe )

Turin, Italy

Salary: Competitive

The candidate will be responsible for the verification at a system level of the functionalities implemented in a production oriented controller
The tasks
• Verify the functionality of the controller on Hardware in the Loop, dyno bench and vehicle
• Definition of system level test cases in cooperation with international development team
• Troubleshoot vehicle level integration issues
• Propose countermeasures to the issues identified to ensure bug fixing and vehicle level test prosecution
• Provide technical support / guidance to calibration team
The Skills
• Degree in Automatics, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Physic or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in testing programmable electronic devices, electronic control system preferred
• Troubleshooting capabilities and test reporting
• Experience in automotive applications
• Knowledge of engine control system development tools like Matlab, Simulink, INCA, C programming language, debugger (e.g. Lauterbach tools)
• Good English, team working, good communication skills and independence
