Jaguar details the technology behind the I-Pace

Fitted with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 – McLaren’s most powerful IC engine ever produced for a road car – the limited release hypercar will develop 800ps and 800Nm.

The Japanese OEM has revealed its all-new powertrain system which is set to be installed in 80% of Toyota vehicles by 2023. Based on the Toyota New Global Architecture, the technology will feature a new continuously variable transmission (CVT), a 6-speed manual transmission and a 2.0-liter hybridized engine unit.

Project Manager (Cummins Inc.)

 Key responsibilities:
• Leads multiple cross-functional projects that may comprise a program from inception to completion
• Facilitates project planning sessions with internal stakeholders
• Works with business stakeholders to establish project performance goals
• Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues
• Monitors and communicates project status to project team
• Plans and monitors project budget
• Manages project risk
• Leverages experience of cross-functional resources and resources external to the project team
• Ensures that project documentation is complete
• Identifies and assigns appropriate resources to accomplish various project tasks

• Bachelor’s degree (technical or business) or equivalent experience is required

Experience and knowledge:
• Significant level of relevant work experience, including team leadership:
• Business/commercial experience
• Negotiation – the ability to bring others together and reconcile
• Analytical skills
• Business Process change
• Experience of New Product Introduction processes
• Facilitate assessments and improvement projects with Aftermarket goal trees, Six-Sigma committee, A3 functional metrics
• Co-ordinate the goal tree maintenance process and support the annual operating plan development
• Gather relevant information systematically, considers a broad range of issues or factors; grasps complexities
• Work with each functional team to understand their needs in terms of internal and external requirements
• Create and implements processes to ensure best practice sharing are used across geographic and functional area
• Ensure best practice project management discipline (eg ITPM, Six-Sigma, roadmap, Kaizen) is enforced
• Develop and monitor local and enterprise metrics for project improvements including key process inputs
• Develop and monitor project schedule to ensure timely completion of project sub tasks
• Develop meaningful measures and report progress against them to the Aftermarket Leadership Team
• IT system design would be beneficial but not essential
• Experience in the application of Six-sigma and operating systems knowledge would be an advantage
• Develop/Define requirements for both business processes and IT applications
