Engine Efficiency/Performance Engineer (Yan Engines)

Austin, Texas, USA

Salary: Competitive

Venture funded growth startup company working on an innovative internal combustion engine (ICE) technology is seeking multi-talented and self-motivated engineer to join the team. Candidate will have experience in modeling, engine controls and/or ECU.

Requirements:

• BSME

• Should be proficient in some of the following ICE fields;

• Efficiency, optimization, and/or performance analysis (e.g. GT-Power or other code)

• Gas dynamics in induction

• Vehicle performance

• Combustion/emission

• Engine controls and/or dyno testing

• Experience coding in Matlab

Not required, the ideal candidate will have some of the following experience:

• MS major or minor in ICE

• cRIO or other customizable ECU

• Machine code

Personality traits we are seeking:

• Forward looking and desire to venture into new technology

• Creative and problem solver that can handle varieties of subjects

• Willing to work hard when needed and in whatever needs to accomplish
