Plant Accountant (Feuer Powertrain North America)

Tunica, Mississippi, USA

Salary: Competitive

Feuer Powertrain North America, Inc., a global automotive supplier, is looking for a Plant Accountant with minimum 5-7 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
This position will be responsible for the safeguarding and ethical accounting practices of all plant assets in conformance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Previous experience in financial planning, forecasting, costing, budgeting and analysis, and payroll functions is mandatory.
The candidate must ensure that operational and design effectiveness of internal controls are maintained. Weekly updates of operational and financial performance metrics are required. Oversee all activities of the Accounting Department and include the month-end close process, financial reporting, payroll and cash management to ensure deadlines are met.
The candidate will be responsible for preparing budgets by preparing schedules; collecting, analyzing and consolidating financial data and ensuring all data complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
The candidate must also be prepared to enforce adherance to requirements; file financial reports; and advise management on needed actions.
A strong knowledge of SAP is mandatory. Fluency in German is highly preferred.
